Volunteer of the Year

2020-2021

PGS surprised me with this recognition at the March 2021 membership meeting.  I was so busy running the Zoom meeting (behind the scenes) I almost didn't catch it.

This award was given to me for my technology work for the organization, not for genealogy research. 

I supported them from a dead website to the one they have now (Pinellas Genealogy Society). 

I also helped steer them to providing virtual meetings during the Covid pandemic.(Pinellas Genealogy Society Meeting Recordings and Handouts) This allowed them to grow into a genealogy society with a national and international reach!

I want to thank them for letting me be of service!
